If you cannot feel, listen!
Where extreme temperatures prevail, their measurement by conventional methods becomes difficult. In this aggressive atmosphere, many methods suffer from problems like drift, wear and measurement errors due to thermal radiation.
Thermal radiation leaves agam unimpressed
The acoustic gas temperature measurement uses a characteristic of the gas itself, as the speed of sound in the gas depends on its temperature. Thus, our AGAM system can measure the gas temperature regardless of the radiation, for example, from the background of the furnace. We use AGAM for combustion control, active balancing control and for denitrification. Furthermore, we use our solution INDAS for the process data management.
